Manuscript Editing for Dao: A Journal of Comparative Philosophy Articles

Order Manuscript Editing Dao: A Journal of Comparative Philosophy is “dedicated to publishing quality articles and reviews of books in Chinese philosophy,” especially work that brings Chinese philosophy into dialogue with other traditions. Springer publishes it, and it is housed in the School of Philosophy at Fudan University, where its founding editor, Huang Yong, is based. It is affiliated with the Association of Chinese Philosophers in America, and its reviews cover books published in Chinese.

Citations are author-date with the page after a colon, as in (Thompson 1990: 235), and the reference list gives authors' full first names. Notes are footnotes and never consist of a citation alone. Chinese appears in Hanyu pinyin with traditional characters, and a philosophical term takes an English translation first, followed by its romanization and characters. The abstract runs 150 to 250 words, with four to six keywords. Review is double-blind. Off the Grid Editing checks every term against that order. You email the manuscript to the editor.
