Torrey House Press is a nonprofit publisher in Salt Lake City whose books sit at the intersection of literary arts and environmental advocacy. Its list covers literary, YA, and genre fiction, story collections, creative and narrative nonfiction, and essay collections, along with the occasional memoir, anthology, or poetry collection, much of it concerned with place, the natural world, and the American West. Off the Grid Editing prepares fiction and nonfiction manuscripts for authors submitting to Torrey House Press. Manuscript Editing Services for Torrey House Press

Clarity, emphasis, and paragraph structure: topic sentences, transitions, and sentences reordered within a paragraph, with every fact and claim kept as you wrote it. Includes copy editing and a final proofread.
Spelling, punctuation, typos, capitalization, grammar, and usage corrected with minimal wording changes, for manuscripts that have been edited and need a last check before submission to Torrey House Press.
Torrey House Press publishes fiction, nonfiction, and essay collections connected to place and the natural world. Its submissions page lists what to send for each kind of book. If you have received editorial guidelines or reader feedback from Torrey House, include them with your manuscript and we will address them throughout our edit.
