Manuscript Editing for Journal of Race, Ethnicity, and Politics Articles

Order Manuscript Editing Founded in 2016, the Journal of Race, Ethnicity, and Politics publishes work on “the multiple junctures between politics and issues of race, ethnicity, immigration, and indigeneity.” Cambridge University Press publishes it for the Race, Ethnicity and Politics Section of APSA. Its editors are at San Diego State University and California State University, Sacramento.

Research articles run 9,000 to 11,000 words, counting tables, figures, references, and appendices, and research notes 3,000 to 5,000. Citations follow the APSA Style Manual, July 2020 revision, with parenthetical references and sparing endnotes for content. The abstract runs 200 words or fewer on a separate title page, and the anonymized manuscript begins with the text. Language editing is optional, and authors may have a native speaker check the manuscript. Off the Grid Editing applies APSA style and checks every reference. Submissions go through Editorial Manager. Articles accepted from March 2026 publish open access.
